Wyatt - ONE YEARS OLD?!

OK....soooo....in typical Ashley fashion, life happened and this little fun project of documenting Wyatt's monthly progress went on the back burner. At least I took lots of pictures.

Months 7-12 have been fun, tiring, and full of learning for both of us. We traveled across the country (and OUT of the country) with Wyatt when he was 10 months old and it was 100x easier than I thought it was going to be. It was exhausting, but it was a great experience and a milestone for sure. Wyatt has learned to walk, has developed a picky eater habit (but we are working on it and it's getting better), and is talking up a storm!! We have a full-fledged toddler over here!

Wyatt's first birthday party has come and gone. I have learned an important fact about myself - I don't like throwing parties. As excited as I am to have a one year old and celebrate his first year of life with close family and friends, I was stressed out putting together the party. I know that it turned out well, but I am looking forward to the time that Wyatt has an opinion about what he would like (vs me feeling like I "have to" do things because it is expected out of me)...if that makes any sense?? I am still waiting on getting some pictures back from the party, but here are the few I do have. It was fun day celebrating Wyatt!

(How he really felt about the cake...I expected this reaction)

It was so nice having all my siblings there to celebrate Wyatt.

  1. I can't believe how much older he looks even from when I last saw him in October! And how fun that all of your siblings were there! It looks like it was tons of fun!
